Design Sense
Framework

Role : Workshop Lead // Planning // Creating Toolkits and Triggers

Design Sense is framework developed by Spread Design and Innovation that allows teams to make Design, a natural adaptive sense to survive, adapt and thrive!!! The core of the framework is a continuous journey from authentic intent to creative action built on the feel, think and do model.

We launched this framework at the Kochi Design Week with a masterclass for creative professionals. The goal here was to enable changemakers and innovators to adopt the 7 sense parameters as a holistic and humanitarian approach to solve problems and design better human experiences.

Immersive and Intensive Business Design Workshops

We led curated workshops in business and design strategy to reflect and respond to challenges and shifts with divergent thinking and design sense for various cross disciplinary teams across sectors. We aided them to reframe their challenges as opportunities and to sense users and cultures. Identify gaps in their business, and solve them...by design.

Businesses : Manipal Global, Manipal Academy of Banking, Kwik 24, TVS, ID Fresh Foods, ABT Transport, Tydy , Farmizen , InstaCar and Design4India.

Design thinking for future management leaders!

For the future management leaders facing complexity, critical skills include project management, data science, delivering in teams and design thinking. The entire 2nd year PGDM class of 520 students worked collaboratively in response to a large challenge posed to them – to reimagine IPE as a Conscious Campus. Transforming their campus into a pop-up design lab, we mentored the students and took them on a Feel, Think, Do Journey over three action-packed days.

Throughout the workshop, students played the role of thinkers, doers, and evangelists – capturing the creative process and every artefact to then make a solid project proposal to be implemented on campus. Outcome : Ideas for a Conscious Campus, a unique place where there is understanding, ownership, responsibility and creative action to balance (regenerate) nature, people (happiness) and resources (optimisation).

What’s it about then?

It’s about bringing together teams that otherwise wouldn’t. It is about the pre-workshop research, insights, genuine empathy, openness to new problems. Generating fresh conversations about existing problems and integrating people to co-create, solve challenges. And most importantly defining next steps.
