Vydehi Discovery Museum
In today’s dynamic digital age, a static museum with passive exhibits is not enough. Students are engaged if they can relate and ‘feel’ that the museum is a living artistic expression and embodiment of their own body.
This creates the need for a futuristic museum equipped with the latest technology to build inspiring, immersive learning experiences.

How do we enthuse future generations of medical students with a new learning experience?
Create an active, personal, inspiring and interactive experience
That stokes inspiration, fascination, curiosity, understanding leading to participation and sustained interest.
‘Journey
of Life’
‘VIDA’ in Sanskrit represents knowledge and discovery. Inspired by the journey of life, its countless miracles, the coming together of art and science, its possibilities, and limitations, we designed VIDA as a ‘live museum’ powered by cutting edge tech, constantly updated information, and good design to augment it.
VIDA is first of its kind of the most comprehensive medical museums in India …
With carefully curated specimens, information and visuals, in its various departments - Anatomy, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Radiology, Forensics and Community Medicine, to bring alive the experience of learning with over 3432 specimens and samples on display.
Inspiring young learners to create a mindset of research and self discovery…
A space that is immersive, captivating and transformative with local lighting, well categorized specimens, interactive and interchangeable display panels, 3D models of morphing micro-organisms, light and video installations on the walls.
At the entrance stands a 4 x 55 inch screen that forms a mammoth video wall. Special concealed lighting adds an immersive experience of the museum.
A unique virtual autopsy table for students to understand the secrets of the human anatomy, powered by VR.
Interactive displays showcase various processes which occur within the human body, the cycle of birth and other medical marvels.
